Health care and accident insurance for groups

When you purchase a health care and accident insurance, an electronic Insurance Certificate shall be sent to you Electronic insurance certificate issued by HD Insurance has full legal validity as prescribed in Decree 52/2013/ND-CP on 16/05/2013 by Government for E-commerce. Customers can access their insurance certificate and check their insurance benefits at anytime throught https://e-certificate.hdinsurance.com.vn.

The standard term of this insurance is 1 year and will be renewed annually if you want it. In case you want to purchase insurance with an insurance term of less than 1 year, please contact HD Insurance for further advice.

You do not need to undergo any health examination except in some special cases HD Insurance may require additional information about your health status to adjust a suitable insurance contract.

In health insurance contracts, a waiting period will apply for specific benefits. During this time, insurance claim for benefits, if arise, will not be covered. The waiting period will be clearly stated in policy wordings/contract. Waiting time applies in the following cases:
• 30 days for common illnesses and diseases;
• 365 days for special diseases, chronic diseases and pre-existing diseases;
• 270 days for maternity benefits.
Waiting time does not apply in the following cases:
– Renewal insurance contract;
– Insured person suffers an accident.

No, premium will not change during the insurance period.

In addition to premium, you will not need to pay any other fees or charges to participate in insurance.

You cannot change your insurance plan during the insurance period. You can only make changes at the time of contract renewal with acceptance from HD Insurance.

If during the validity period of the insurance contract, you want to terminate the insurance contract ahead of time, you must notify HD Insurance in writing/email 30 days in advance from the date of your intentional termination. HD Insurance will refund 80% of the insurance premium corresponding to the remaining insurance period provided that no claim has arisen during the period insurance contract has been in effect.

You can choose any hospital or clinic that you want to examine or get treatment, provided that the hospital/clinic must have a legal operating license according to the law.

Hospital fee guarantee means insurance company directly pays part or all of the medical expenses for Insured Person when examined and treated at a hospital affiliated with the insurance company. Using hospital fee guarantee service also helps customers reduce the financial burden during medical examination and treatment, especially in cases where large medical expenses arise. Customers just have to pay for medical expenses that are not covered by insurance or exceed the insurance liability limit, the rest will be paid by insurance company.

To be guaranteed, you need to present your Insurance Certificate and identification documents (ID card/CCCD, passport or birth certificate for children) for using the hospital fee guarantee service.

HD Insurance shall base on compensation rate to decide your renewal rate on next year, premium may be increased or decreased accordingly…

In the event of an insured event, insurance benefits are paid in the following order of priority:
– Insured person.
– Designated beneficiary.
– The Insured’s legal heir in case there is no designated Beneficiary.
– Authorized person.

To enjoy the best medical examination/hospital fee guarantee service, you should contact our TPA or Claim Settlement Service (kindly refer to information on the Insurance Certificate) before doing medical examination.

Please present your Electronic Insurance Certificate. There are information of Insurance Company and Hospital Fee Guarantee Service on it. The medical facility will base on those information to process procedures related.
Present ID card/ID card (for adults), Birth Certificate (for children)…, so that the Medical Facility can identify the right Insured Person on Insurance Certificate.
